After not painting anything for years and years, my ex-girlfriend's two daughters bought me a set of paints and canvases for Christmas. I felt it was not only time to start painting again to rediscover that joy I had always felt, but that I would dedicate my first painting to them for being so thoughtful. They had just returned from Europe and after going through their pics, I found this photo of a beautiful floral bridge, located in Lucerne, Switzerland. The rest, as they say, is history.. This painting was done in oils on a 24" x 16" pre-stretched canvas.
