Occasionally I'll sit down with a canvas board and paint a scene, primarily to practice new techniques or effects. I painted this little cabin, hidden away in a meadow at the edge of a forest. It just gave me a nice warm feeling. This painting was done in oils on a 12"x 8.5" canvas board.
